How could AI help a policy analyst assess a regulatory proposal for global shipping, a researcher make sense of a pile of reports, or a communications colleague turn an idea into a first draft? We’re looking for a curious student who enjoys figuring things out with people and wants to help colleagues use AI in their everyday work.
We’re setting up a new AI team to strengthen how the Center uses AI, and you’ll be one of its first members. You’ll help build the team’s work from the start.
We’re the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, an independent, not-for-profit research and development center working to decarbonize global shipping. Our team unites experts from many fields – engineers, economists, analysts, software developers and more – who share a passion for making a real difference. We’re based in Copenhagen but collaborate globally.
You’re enrolled in a higher education program. We’re open to different subjects and care less about your specific education than about your abilities. What we need is:
You don’t need coding skills, maritime knowledge or previous professional AI experience.
You’ll join our new AI team and work closely with the people building it. Specifically, you will:
You’ll learn alongside us and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills grow.
You’ll be part of a new team from the start and help shape how it works. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues while helping them solve real problems. You’ll see how different teams work and build your own skills in AI and problem solving.
Based in Copenhagen. 15 to 20 hours per week, with flexibility around studies and exams.
Send your CV and a short note explaining why this role interests you and what you would bring to it. We’re interested in how you approach unfamiliar problems, work with people and use AI. Examples from studies, personal projects or work are all welcome.
We interview candidates on a continuous basis and may close the recruitment process once the right candidate is found, so please apply as soon as possible.
